To mark exactly a decade since Class 1-A first burst onto TV screens in 2016, TOHO Co., LTD. has officially kicked off the My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary celebration and they are celebrating in a big way.
My Hero Academia has given us ten years of unforgettable battles, heartbreaking sacrifices, and iconic characters. Fans new and old will be looking to relive the magic this summer.
The My Hero Academia 10th-anniversary festivities offer fans plenty to celebrate, starting with a massive global streaming event on the official TOHO animation YouTube channel. From April through August 2026, fans worldwide can access a free binge marathon of the anime's first three seasons (episodes 1–63) with subtitle support in seven different languages.
Looking ahead, the celebration also includes the highly anticipated premiere of a special anime installment, Episode 170+1, titled "More." Debuting May 2, 2026, exclusively on Crunchyroll outside of Asia, this special episode adapts chapter 431 of the manga to follow Deku and Class 1-A as seasoned pro heroes eight years after graduation.
With over 100 million manga copies sold, eight seasons, and four feature films securing its legacy, the franchise plans to keep the momentum going all year long with a global concert tour, exclusive collaborations, and ongoing announcements hosted on their official 10th Anniversary Project website.
